My name is Brendon Temple, and I founded Suncoast Succession to help one business owner achieve a successful exit, that meets their needs and desired timeline.

After the transition, I will step into a full-time operating role, ensuring continuity of the business and the team, and I will roll up my sleeves to operate the business, to preserve your legacy.

I am a passionate, values driven leader, who is looking to buy and operate one great business for the long term.

In my 15-year professional career in operations and strategy, I have developed and implemented business growth strategies across multiple industries, for businesses of all sizes. In my operational roles, I have taken new businesses to market, launched new products and services, managed annual investment budgets and achieved profitable business growth.

I am a dedicated husband and proud father of two. I was born on the Sunshine Coast and completed my schooling and university in Brisbane. My family and I returned to live on the Sunshine Coast in 2018 due to our love of the area and local community.

My family and business experience has reinforced in me the values of integrity, openness, perseverance, and optimism. With those values in mind and the support of several small business operators and entrepreneurs, you can rest assured that I will close a transaction and your business, people, and legacy will be in capable hands.

  • Motivated seller looking to retire, reduce day-to-day involvement or transition to a new role

  • Strong interest in the continued success of the business and its people

My Process

I pride myself on a hands-on, collaborative approach and I am excited to meet with you in person as early as the first conversation. 100% confidentiality guaranteed.

  • Get in touch to chat or to arrange a time to meet in person. I am always excited to meet and learn from successful business owners. Information you share is always confidential. In the initial chat, we’ll talk at a high level about your business and your unique goals, to see if there is a good mutual fit.

    The approximate duration of this stage is 1 to 3 days.

  • If there is a fit, we sign a confidentiality agreement (NDA) to get basic financial information about the business. This information will allow me to provide you with a preliminary valuation and potential structure of the transaction.

    The approximate duration of this stage is 3 to 5 days.

  • If there is interest to move forward, I will submit an LOI that discusses price and key terms of the potential transaction. We will work together to agree on terms and sign the LOI. My goal is to arrive at a price and structure that is favourable for you.

    The approximate duration of this stage is 1 to 3 weeks.

  • After the LOI is signed, I will work with my advisors to complete a deep dive on your company and finalise legal documentation. I commit to being transparent, collaborative, and to maintain confidentiality throughout this stage of the process.

    The approximate duration of this stage is 90 days.

  • On the day of closing, we will sign the final documents, transfer your funds, and celebrate! A post-close plan will be in place to seamlessly transition the business going forward, to ensure your legacy thrives.

The approximate duration of the entire process varies from 4 to 6 months
